Day 1 Upper Loop is filled with waterfalls, historic sites and wildlife.Our first day will conclude with a drive down the beautiful Chief Joseph Scenic Highway into Cody Wy.where you’ll have your first nights stay. Day 2 Is an exciting day in Cody Wyoming’s Wild West starting at 8am for a fun morning Wild Mustang Tour or whitewater rafting and enjoy fun dinner at the Cody Cattle Company and Rodeo Day 3 Begins at 7am for an exciting day of the Yellowstone Lower Loop the Volcano Tour &then off for your overnight stay in Jackson Hole. Day 4 Begins at 7am with a morning Tetons and back in to West Yellowstone
Mammoth Hot Springs
Take a stroll back in time in the historic town of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National park.Enjoy a picnic lunch while watching the resident elk heard wander the town.Stroll through gift shops and maybe even grab an ice cream while enjoying the views of the massive travertine terraces that will leave you in awe.

This massive mineral deposit of obsidian spans over 5 square miles and was an important part of the lives of the indigenous people that once inhabited our lands.This deposit was created over 180,000 years ago by magma/rhyolitic rock rising up from the volcano below us and cooling at an extreme rate.Obsidian has been used for thousands of years for tools,weapons and jewelry.

Lamar Valley
No trip to Yellowstone would ever be complete without a visit to the most popular wildlife viewing area.Millions of people a year take this road to try to catch a glimpse of the thousands of wildlife that maybe hanging out in this popular feeding and breeding ground.Not only will you see beautiful rivers,mountains,cliffs and more but….. you could see thousands of bison,fox,coyotes,wolves,Bears,bighorn sheep,mountain goats,moose,a wide variety of birds,etc.You never know what you might see or where you might see it so keep your eyes peeled.

Chief Joseph Scenic Byway

I’ve heard this geothermal feature described in so many interesting ways over the last 27 years that I’ve been a guide.The “Rainbow Lake” was about spit on.This Spring is truly a phenomenon with its many rainbow like colors that are actually living organisms putting on a show.Learn more about these thermophiles(Heat loving bacteria) and the many scientific and medical uses for them and why they display such beautiful colors.No trip to Yellowstone would ever be complete without a stroll around this amazing boardwalk.

Excelsior Geyser Crater
This amazing crater was once known as the “Excelsior Geyser” that many years ago had 46 hours straight of eruptions of over 300 feet wide and 300 feet tall.Today…. We haven’t been so luck to see such an eruption but they are still known to happen at irregular intervals from 50-300 feet high.This geothermal feature has one of the richest in Yellowstone and is definitely a crowd pleaser.

While we wait for Old Faithful to put on a show we will enjoy a bit of fun in the original Old Faithful Inn.Built back in 1902 as the largest log cabin in the world,the jaw dropping design of this lodge is amazing.We will take you on a short tour of the Inn.You can do some souvenir shopping and maybe have a glass of wine while sitting in front of the amazing 80 foot tall hand quarried lava rock fire place.
