Santa Barbara's wine country is one of California’s most beloved regions, but this verdant spot also produces another treasure: olive oil. On this half-day bike tour, you'll hit the open road up into the Mediterranean hills of Los Olivos, learning from your guide and exploring along the way. Winding your way to an olive oil farm, you'll sample the local goodness before heading back to city life.
Starting from our tour shop at 10:00AM our guides will fit you to your bikes, and well get a good feel for our equipment while riding through the quite country town

After departing Ballard, we’ll head for Los Olivos around 10:30. If time permits, we might take a detour down Figueroa Mountain Road, or another scenic area to get a good feel for the native ecosystems, vineyards, and cattle ranches

After familiarizing yourself with the area and learning a bit about the history, around 11:00 AM we’ll stop to sample some locally produced olive oil and infused vinegars

After enjoying that which gives Los Olivos its namesake, we’ll head back towards the tour shop, via either rugged canyon road, or well paved bike lane depending on how the group is feeling.
