We have the closest access to Wild Horse Island on Flathead Lake in Dayton, MT. Rent a kayak on a self-guided tour to primitive Wild Horse Island state park and take your time! Please plan to check in and get your paddling equipment. We will supply the kayaks to be launched at the public park 2 blocks from our location. We will assist you in getting the kayaks to the water. Your well-fitted sit on top comfy kayak will be set up for you with all the gear to keep everyone safe while paddling. Maps and all the information necessary for you to safely complete your 3 hour self-guided exploration paddle and hike of Wild Horse Island. Depart from Dayton, MT, to Skeeko Bay on Wild Horse Island where the trailhead begins. The kayak tour is approximately two miles each way and takes approximately 60 minutes each way for most paddlers.
