What To Expect

This 3 hour class will be for those who have been paddling for a while but have not had the chance to wet exit, recover, re-entry, or be rescued. It will be a physically demanding class where everyone will be participating in the water. This means LOTS of swimming, pumping, and climbing back into half submerged kayaks.

If you have your own kayaking gear (kayak, PFD, spray skirt, and sponge) bring it otherwise we are able to provide a kayak and gear from us. We are also able to provide bilge pumps and paddle floats if needed.

This is a rain or shine class! The only time a class will be rescheduled is in the event of lightning.

Disclaimer:
Any class with 5 or less participants is subject to cancellation as late as 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time due to low enrollment.
