Continuing on to Philadelphia, it is noted for its rich history which is on display at the Liberty Bell and other sites of the American Revolution. Since we will be getting up early, we will make a rest stop in the state of Delaware for breakfast and to stretch our legs before arriving in Washington.

The Pentagon



Before entering the city we will pass by the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense, located in the state of Virginia, where approximately 26,000 military and civilian employees work in a 12-story Pentagon-shaped building built during World War II. It is currently the largest office building in the world and was one of the targets of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Arlington National Cemetery



MONUMENTO A LOS MARINES (IWO JIMA)
Monumento militar dedicado a todos los Marines de los Estados Unidos que murieron por defender este país desde 1775, su diseño se baso en la icónica fotografía “Alzando la bandera en Iwo Jima” tomada por el fotógrafo Joe Rosenthal en la segunda guerra mundial. Arlington Memorial Bridge & Avenue



We will arrive at Memorial Park and walk accompanied by our guide through the places that have been scenes of movies and series. Korean War Memorial, President Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial. We will continue by the Reflecting Pool, famous for the movie Forrest Gump. Until reaching more visited monuments such as “World War II” and the Washington Obelisk, the tallest structure in the city.

White House



We will continue through the OAS, the American Red Cross, Vice President, Treasury Department and along the White House grounds where we will have time to take pictures. We will go along the main avenue of Washington being Pennsylvania Avenue, where the incoming president every 4 years makes his tour after giving his inaugural address from the Capitol to the White House. In addition we will find several buildings such as the Treasury, Department of Justice, FBI, National Archives, National Gallery, National History Museum. Arriving at the Capitol we will get off the bus to take pictures.

Philadelphia



When we arrive in Philadelphia, we will tour the most emblematic places of the city. We will start walking down the oldest street in the country, then we will visit the house where the first American flag was designed, we will continue our tour passing by the Christ Church Cemetery where the tomb of one of the fathers of the American fatherland Benjamin Franklin is located until we reach the Liberty Bell, the Independence Hall (where the fathers of the country created and signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution). Philadelphia



Here you will find the Declaration House, the oldest carpenter’s street in the United States. The home of Betsy Ross, the woman who designed the American flag. You will see a Masonic Center, JFK Park or better known as Love Park after Robert Indiana’s “LOVE” we will walk the street of flags, and stop at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Where you can find one of the most famous scenes of the cinema, the stairs where the movie Rocky was filmed. Undoubtedly one of the most visited points of the city and where we can take pictures with the statuette of Rocky, also climb the stairs where he trained.

Manhattan



We will make an extra stop in New Jersey where we will have a panoramic view of Manhattan illuminated like in the postcards. On the Washington and Philadelphia Tour from New York we will walk through the cities, so we recommend comfortable shoes and if you come in hot weather bring water and food. If you want to visit Washington or Philadelphia in depth, we recommend you to take the tour to each city separately for one day each, as this tour is to see the most important parts of the city.
