This tour is given by a true local with intimate knowledge of the area, its history, and its people. We will be seeing sights from high across a great distance with plenty of time for photos and sightseeing. Your guide will provide full commentary during the tour. We will also be having breakfast at a local area restaurant where the food is prepared using fresh local ingredients (when in season). This meal is a full sit down experience which includes entree, sides, and a drink of your choice. Tips are not included please tip your server and driver for excellent service. Child tickets must order from the children's menu. This tour includes 2 hours of driving/sightseeing with stops at a few places and 1 hour of meal time for a total of 3 hours.
We will be stopping at Elvira’s Café for your FREE breakfast which is located in Wears Valley. This is one of the top 3 best breakfast spots in the Smoky Mountains. we have been bringing guests here for 7+ years. The food is amazing and the ingredients are locally sourced. This is a farm to table style restaurant. You will be allowed any single entrée with included sides plus a refillable drink of your choice (soda, tea, coffee, water … Juices and milk are NOT included) We cover the tab including taxes but you are responsible for tipping your server for good service so please bring cash. We suggest $5 per person as a tip since they do such a great job attending to our groups. (please note there are limited vegan and vegetarian options)

We will be headed towards Townsend TN after breakfast and along the way your guide will tell you a history of the small town known as “The peaceful side of the smokies”

Once we enter the foothills parkway your guide will tell you the interesting history of the road and how its unique construction stories. You will also learn a good deal about the history of the Smoky Mountains, its people, and its creation. Your guide will make 2-3 stops along the way to enjoy the views and get photos of the Smoky Mountains from different areas and angles. Each stop will last about 5-10 minutes depending on time. (Please note, views may be obstructed on rainy days but rainy days have their own unique beauty)
