This is a private tour of Tumacacori National Historical Park by a former NPS ranger who worked at the mission in historic preservation and heritage interpretation. The park protects one of the most special places in Arizona for understanding the state's vibrant natural and cultural landscapes.
Tumacacori NHP is one of the overlooked gems of the entire National Park Service system. Here we can explore the past and immerse ourselves in the natural landscape of the Upper Sonoran Desert with its lush mesquite forests and cottonwood gallery forests. We will also be in awe by the architecture and the preservation work which has been accomplished at this site so important to the cultural heritage of the state of Arizona.
