Tumacacori NHP is one of the overlooked gems of the entire National Park Service system. Here we can explore the past and immerse ourselves in the natural landscape of the Upper Sonoran Desert with its lush mesquite forests and cottonwood gallery forests. We will also be in awe by the architecture and the preservation work which has been accomplished at this site so important to the cultural heritage of the state of Arizona.
