Our lunch tour is filling (enough for a meal), visiting up to five foodie places with an alcoholic drink included in the price. All our restaurant partners stand out as excellent examples of foods iconic to the South. Scoop up some atmosphere with our pillowy Beignets, famous Shrimp ‘n Grits & creamy, dreamy She-Crab Soup. Rise and shine! It’s time to explore Savannah and you’ll meet your guide for coffee and soft, warm, powdered sugary goodness in the form of beignets near our starting point. This tour focuses on CUISINE: enjoying foods native to the South and Savannah, learning the history behind its origins and understanding the culture and history of this region.
We’ll be walking about 2 miles through the historic northern section of Savannah. Foods we’ll be trying include coffee, beignets, Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp N Grits and/or other main dishes of the South, She Crab Soup, Pecan Pie and more! This tour includes a cocktail (or mocktail for non drinkers) so ease on into vacation mode an slow it down a bit…you’re in the South now!
