Hawaii is one of the world's best spots to surf. Learn the exciting water sport during your vacation during this group lesson right on Waikiki Beach. Learn about the basics of surfing and certain techniques on the sand and then, take to the water to try and catch your first wave. Your instructor guides you along the way so you feel safe and confident in the water.

What To Expect

Jump on the Surf School Bus and we will get you from wherever you're staying in Waikiki to the beach and up and riding! We offer a complimentary courtesy shuttle. Our knowledgeable staff will meet you at one of our convenient hotel pick-up locations. You’ll be stoked to ride in our air-conditioned, clean, easy-to-spot yellow Surf School Bus or white shuttle with our logo on the side. After our friendly staff introduce themselves, we will shuttle you to our Ohana Surf Center located in the Waikiki Beach Marriott. From there you will get checked-in, geared up, will watch our safety briefing and then will be shuttled to the beach!

Once by the ocean, you will meet your instructor and talk about your previous experience, swimming strength or any other concerns or conditions, then we’ll have you walk your high quality lesson boards to the beach. When you’re comfortable and ready, we leash ourselves to the board and into the water we go!

After the lesson, you’ll be taken back to the Ohana Surf Center where you can check out photographs, videos, or buy some merch for yourself or friends. Then after your purchases are made, we drive you back to one of our convenient drop off locations.
