Our food tour menu is both Southern and “of the sea," highlighting Lowcountry staples such as stone-ground Shrimp n Grits and farm-to-table oysters hand-picked off the Eastern coast. When it comes to seafood, fresh is best. Wash it all down with a drink from Georgia's most famed and award-winning English Pub, the Six Pence & you'll understand Southern Charm. In between bites & sips at multiple tasting spots your fun guide will share the authentic side of Georgia's oldest city: its quirky personality, rich cuisine & interesting history. Guests will stroll from day into sunset through the most tranquil, historic part of the city with an intimate, boutique group of no more than 10 guests. This easy walking tour focuses on dishes unique to the South and the Lowcountry, such as She Crab Soup, Shrimp n Grits, Fried Green Tomatoes, Blue Crab prepared in a non-traditional but tasty way and to cap it off: dessert. This tour also includes one cocktail (or mocktail for nondrinkers).
