Spend a leisurely day exploring Austin the locals’ way, with bikes, brews, swimming and BBQ, during this 4-hour cycle trip through the city’s south side. Pedal a relaxed total of 11 miles during your trip, stopping by the city’s famous spring-fed Barton Spring Pool for a dip before continuing to a local spot for craft beer and tasty Texas-style BBQ. After lunch you’ll cycle back towards downtown along the promenade, where more brews and an outdoor patio await. A guide and all bike equipment are included.
Zilker Metropolitan Park is a recreational area in south Austin, Texas at the juncture of Barton Creek and the Colorado River that comprises over 350 acres of publicly owned land. It is named after its benefactor, Andrew Jackson Zilker, who donated the land to the city in 1917
