Overview

Discover the calm waterways around Siesta Key, just outside of Sarasota, on this small-group excursion. Choose a kayak or stand up paddleboard, whichever you are more comfortable with, for your journey. Then, follow your guide through the Jim Neville Marine Preserve observing mangrove islands and local wildlife while you paddle towards a secret beach.

Beautiful mangrove islands–a birders paradise. We will paddle around the mangrove islands on the way to the secret beach.

• Admission Ticket Free

We will pull our kayaks and paddleboards out of the water for a quick walk over the sand dune and to the Gulf of Mexico. From here, we will stretch our legs, maybe take a quick swim and just relax. This is a “secret” beach—only accessible by boat, so we may have the area to ourselves. It is such a beautiful and isolated beach–a local favorite.
