Oldest Wooden School House



Our tour starts here. You’ll hear the story of the hold house and it’s ghosts. Originally built in 1716 this is the oldest surviving wooden building in St. Augustine and has seen its fair share of history.

Over the centuries its walls have been the barracks for British soldiers, a school for the youth of and the home of Juan Genopoly, a leader of the Minorcans.

And their ghosts have decided to stick around.

We do not go inside, it’s only on the outside we tell our story.

City Gate Spirits



The old city gates of St. Augustine were built in 1808 replacing the deteriorating wooden structure. Standing 3 stories high they are a popular tourist attraction.

Over the centuries the old gates have kept the inhabitants of the city safe from invasion.

And local legend has it they are haunted by the soul of 10-year-old Elizabeth.

Huguenot Cemetery



In 1821 when the yellow fever hit St. Augustine it killed over 400 of its residents. At the time that was more than one third of its population.

In a haste the local government buried the rotting corpses of the Huguenot’s in a mass grave.

You’ll hear the story of the haunted burial ground and the spirits that now lurk it’s grounds.

Potter’s Wax Museum



Potter’s Wax Museum was the first wax museum in America established in 1948 and houses 160 plus creepy wax sculptures. Many of characters have long passed.

The wooden building it’s housed in was built in 1739 and moved to this location in 1887. Before it was a wax museum it was a pharmacy, and said to be the oldest pharmacy in the US.

And it’s haunted!

Tolomato Cemetery



The Tolomato cemetery is the oldest burial ground in Florida dating back to the 1700’s and today it’s the final resting place to bishops, slaves, murders and over 1000 bodies lay interned in its soil. You’ll hear the story of the boy that haunts it’s grounds and see his headstone. To note, we do not go in the cemetery, we are only at the gate.

The Old Powder House Inn



In the 1700’s this spot was home to the Spanish Gunpowder and ammunitions warehouse.

Over the years the building has been a boarding house, a grocery store and most recently a charming bed and breakfast, haunted by the sweetest of ghosts.

Today it’s haunted by the sweetest of spirits. They are dying to meet you!

Scarlett O’Hara’s



In 1870 this building was built by a Mr. George Colee for Marion, his fiancée who he planned to live with for eternity. You’ll learn about Mr. Colee and where he now haunts.

Once a refuge for rum runners this spot is now haunted by its old owner. And her lantern waving spirit is known to show up from time to time. You’ll hear her story and the spirits that haunt this joint.
