Discover the highlights of Cow Hollow, the Presidio, and Pacific Heights’and explore with just a small group for company’on this half-day walking tour. In the afternoon, meet your guide in Cow Hollow and take in the upscale neighborhood’s rock ‘n’ roll history and Victorian architecture before heading to the Presidio, and admiring its Golden Gate views. Along the way, glimpse everything from a Yoda statute to the Palace of Fine Arts.
We’ll visit legendary rock and roll venue, The Matrix Club, where Santana, the Doors, and Jefferson Airplane recorded some of their most legendary live sets. I’ll share some stories from the 60s and 70s when this psychedelic chateau was in its prime. We’ll visit landmarks like the funky eight-sided Octagon House before ascending to the posh Pacific Heights district.
