Full of quaint shops and prime window shopping, we’ll start our tour in the heart of downtown Coronado at Rotary Park. We’ll stroll the main street and also get off the beaten path to explore interesting architecture just beyond Orange Avenue. Later we’ll grab a snack before we stop by a unique shop.

Established in 1890, this classical revival building was completed in 1909. We’ll learn about the man who funded it, the architect who built it, and if open, we’ll pop in for a look inside.

We’ll talk about the houses that face the beach, and if we’re lucky we’ll see some wildlife in the ocean. Then we’ll stroll down to the largest building on the beach – the Hotel del Coronado.
