With no experience required, almost anyone can get in on the thrill of discovering Wyoming from the water.
Red Canyon River Trips Northfork Whitewater Adventure begins from our office located at 1119 12th street Cody Wyoming(right next door to the Irma Hotel)You’ll begin your adventure at 9am from our shop and be driven up to the Shoshone National Forest.On this scenic drive your guides will be providing you with fun historical facts of Buffalo Bill Cody and the cool geology in our area.The North Fork not only boasts with stunning views but is also the home for many of Wyoming’s wildlife species.This half day whitewater adventure brings you to many scenic areas and even allows you to view a variety of fossils in the canyon walls.On this whitewater adventure we require a minimum age of 10years old to participate due to hitting larger rapids such “Wapiti Hole”.Wyoming’s North Fork of the Shoshone River is a free flowing river and only runs when we have peak runoff from snow melt.Due to our snow melt being very seasonal we can only raft this section for short window.
