Yellowstone National Park is so large that it can be difficult to know where to explore if you’re going to do so on your own, and you could miss a lot that way, too. Instead, book this Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari and Mammoth Hot Springs Private Tour to create an intimate day inside the park. Your private guide knows the best places to stop to see wildlife and also provides details on the Mammoth Hot Springs.
The Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park is world renowned for the wildlife that congregates here. It is often refeered to “The Serengeti of Yellowstone.” The Lamar Valley is currently the best place to spot wild wolves in the United States. This is the exact location where biologists from National Park Service released the first wolf pack to walk in Yellowstone since the early 1900’s. Not only can we see wolves here but we will see large bison and elk herds grazing in this famous valley.
