Explore the history and culture of Sedona with an experienced, professional guide! Private tours are customized to fit our guests' individual needs. You will travel in a 2022 Ford Transit Passenger Van. You will make stops at the historic Chapel of the Holy Cross, Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village, Oak Creek Canyon Vista Overlook and Airport Mesa. At each breathtaking viewpoint, your guide will use a high-powered spotting scope to show you amazing up-close views of rock formations, hikers, and wildlife throughout Sedona. Your guide will also interpret what you are seeing, as well as the geology, history, and native people of the region. Specialty snacks and drinks will be provided in the vehicle throughout the tour. You may walk inside the historic Chapel of the Holy Cross designed by Maurgarite Staude. It was built in 1956 and inspired by the construction of the Empire State Building. You will also see famous rock formations from the Chapel such as “Cathedral Rock”, “The Nuns”, “Madonna and Child”, and the “Praying Hands”.

You will stop at the Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village designed by Abe Miller. It was inspired after a sleep little town outside of Guadalajara, named Tlaquepaque. It is a charming display of Old Mexican architecture, and is located on Oak Creek. You will walk with your guide around the village, and take photos at the arch. Afterwards, you will have time on your own to check out the shops.

You will travel through lovely Oak Creek Canyon on your way to the Oak Creek Vista Overlook at the top of the canyon. Your guide will interpret what you are seeing, as well as the geology, history, and early inhabitants of Oak Creek Canyon.

You will stop at Oak Creek Vista Overlook where your guide will use a high-powered spotting scope to show you up-close views of rock formations, wildlife, and wildfire areas, and discuss the geology of the Colorado Plateau. You may also shop at the local native Navajo market located at the overlook.

You will stop at Airport Mesa to experience the majestic 360-degree views of famous rock formations in West Sedona. Your guide will use a high-powered spotting scope to show you up-close views of Bear Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot Rock, and Wilson Mountain.
