This tour highlights a neighborhood filled with art and historic architecture most travelers miss when they visit, and it's a very unique slice of old Seattle that still survives. It's a time machine! After we explore Georgetown, we will visit Alki Beach, a local favorite with great people watching, stunning views of Elliott Bay, Bainbridge Island and the Olympic Mountains. We may even spot a sea lion, a harbor porpoise, an eagle or an Orca on Alki, you never know. These are the places I take my friends and family when they visit, I'd like to share them with you. With a max of 4 people, this is a very personal "best of Seattle" tour that explores the places most visitors never see. Come explore with a 30 year local!
Georgetown is one of Seattle’s oldest neighborhoods, and as of now, still retains some of the incredible architecture of early Seattle. We will learn about this neighborhood’s amazing (sometimes sordid) history, taste locally made chocolates, sip beverages, shop for records, comic books, vintage stuff, view art and explore the funky bits of the city.
