An eFoil, or electric hydrofoil, is a battery-powered surfboard with a remote-controlled motor for thrust and a hydrofoil for lift. This dream machine allows you to fly over water, just like the hoverboard from Back to the Future! You will experience a fun, safe, and professional eFoil experience. Our step-by-step progressive lesson plan is designed for students of all skill levels, ages 13 and up. 100% of our clients have had success and have managed to kneesurf and stand during their first lesson! Most students are confidently eFoiling after 30’60 minutes of lessons. No surf experience is needed, but having board sports balance will help you progress faster from eSurfing to eFoiling.

What To Expect

eFoil Group lesson. Minimum 2 students required to book

Lesson includes
-1 eFoil per 2 students
-15-30 min ground school
-30 min total water time per student, made up of three 10-minute water runs each.
-Call to add additional students to create a customized semi-private lesson.

EFoil lessons begin with a comprehension land lesson and safety class.
On our balance board, “eFoil Simulator," you learn how to control your center of gravity and maneuver the eFoil in the 3 riding positions: belly down, knee riding, and standing. 
Your water time begins with belly rides, practicing using the remote, turning the board, knee riding is next, sith some touch and go foiling. Next progression is a pop-up to your standing position, and some e-surfing. mastering turns, and moving on to slowly rising up out of the water into the e-foiling position! Once you have mastered touch and go foiling. We will begin practicing long, sustained eFoil rides! It’s most important to learn at your own speed and skill level. Have fun, and be safe!
