Discover why Portland, Oregon is considered one of the country’s top food destinations—and enjoy an indulgent introduction to its must-try bites—on this small-group (or private) tasting tour. Meet your guide at lunch time, and be sure to come hungry: You’ll indulge in everything from fried sausages and eggs on sourdough to tonkotsu ramen, pretzels, donuts, and even a secret dish. As you go, visit some of Portland’s coolest neighborhoods and admire local landmarks.
First, you´ll try a special Housemade Sausage, perfectly fried Egg, Parmesan and Pesto on a Crips Buttery Sourdough.
Then, after a nice cultural walk, as with all our tours, there is our delicious Secret Dish and, honestly, it’s just so good!
We walk around the Pearl District and make sure you sample a locally brewed Beer & a Special Pretzel with a Dip.
We´ll switch scenarios, going towards an eclectic side of Downtown and resting in front of a Tonkotsu Ramen.
You´ll try a unique local Simpsons Donut and will know why we call it this way.
You´ll then have a final chat in an old local cafe.
At the end of your tour, you´ll have tasted some of city’s most delicious dishes and gained a better understanding of our local culture and history.
