Discover the lighthouses and coastal landmarks of Portland on a small-group biking tour. Hop on a provided bicycle and follow your guide to the Bug Light, Spring Point Ledge, and Portland Head lighthouses. Along the way, learn about their storied histories. Other highlights include the Liberty Ship Memorial, Cape Elizabeth, and Willard Beach. Set at a leisurely pace, the adventure also includes a complimentary lobster roll lunch at an award-winning food truck.
The first of five lighthouses is Bug Light. We will stop for pictures and tell you the history of the city of Portland, Maine

We will pause at the Liberty Ship Memorial to talk about shipbuilding during World War 2

The second lighthouse. You will learn the history of the lighthouse and how Portland Harbor was integral to the navy during World War 2. We will walk the breakwater out to the lighthouse for an up-close look. If the lighthouse is open for tours ( it is usually open on Tuesday and Thursday) you will take a guided tour.

The third lighthouse on the tour. We will view the lighthouse and Fort Williams Park. We stop here for lunch.

We will bike through Cape Elizabeth and see many beautiful waterfront houses
