Take a tour that lets you immerse yourself in the park. Our guides are master naturalists, botanists, geologists, historians, and – most importantly – relentlessly curious! This is not just a sightseeing tour, it's a day all about learning and connection. Olympic National Park is sometimes called “three parks in one” because of its diversity of landscapes – from dense old growth forests to high alpine meadows to coastal ecosystems. Today, you’ll head to the coast for a visit to stunning destinations including the Kalaloch beaches and the Hoh rainforest. Groups are capped at 8 adventurers so you can get a truly immersive and personal experience.
We’ll either start or end our day at Ruby Beach, depending on the tides. Your guide will lead you through and educational exploration of the intertidal zone and its truly fascinating wildlife. Most people walk by some of these areas without ever realizing that an entire universe is alive beneath their feet! You’ll never look at starfish the same way again…

We’ll take an approximate 4 mile hike along the Hoh River. We’ll escape the crowds by hiking along one of the less traveled paths in the area. Along the way, your expert guide will explain why this area is so unique and answer questions about this one-of-a-kind ecosystem. We’ll be taking our time to really look at the thousands of species around us!

Pay a visit to this truly amazing tree. An unbelievably massive conifer, this 1000 year old tree was struck by lightening in 2014. It’s now a perfect example of the cycle of life as parts of it now serve as a home for new tree saplings.
