The Market Common District of Myrtle Beach was once an Air Force Base and an Army Air Corp Airfield during World War II. Discover the area and its fascinating military history during this narrated trolley tour. Stop at important locations including Warbird Park, where military planes are on display, and the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center, to tour the military museum.
The first stop the trolley makes is at Warbird Park where guests can see actual military planes on static display that were once flown at the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.

The second trolley stop will be made at the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center that houses a small military museum.

The third trolley stop will be a brief visit to the Norton General Aviation Terminal at the Myrtle Beach International Airport. The building is on the site of the former Base Operations Building of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base and has military memorabilia on display.

To maintain social distancing, the guests will be divided into two groups of 16. For those who take the trolley portion of the tour first, then their fourth and final stop will be at Tupelo Honey for a catered reception and historical presentation at 3 PM. For those who enjoy the reception first at 2 PM, they will also be brought back to Tupelo Honey at the end of the trolley portion of the tour.
