We will briefly stop in Myrtle Beach’s new historic district.

We will also stop at Charlie’s Place Historic Site where the greatest names in 20th Century American music performed from the 1930s to the 1960s. The club itself, which had been a popular stop on what was known as the “Chitlin’ Circuit,” is no longer there, but Charlie’s home is along with a reconstruction of his motel that was listed in THE GREEN BOOK, a guide for African-American travelers during segregation.
