If its dolphins and shelling you're looking for, you've come to the right place! We'll depart from and return to the Folly River Boat Ramp and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the salt marsh creeks of Folly Island to historic Morris Island. Once on Morris Island, you’ll have the opportunity to walk the beach in search of shells, shark teeth, and other fossils. From Morris Island you will also enjoy breathtaking up-close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. During your journey to and from the island, you will enjoy numerous sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and other saltwater wildlife.
We’ll depart from the Folly River boat ramp and begin our excursion through the Folly River and surrounding salt marsh estuaries. During our trip, you’ll be treated to numerous encounters with our resident Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. We’ll also see various species of shorebirds and wading birds along with occasional sighting of turtles, river otters and birds of prey such as eagles and osprey. All while making our way to historic Morris Island.

When we arrive at Morris Island, you’ll have time to explore on your own. The island is a great place to find seashells and the occasional fossil such as shark teeth and fossilized fish vertebrae.
You’ll also be treated to up close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse which has stood on Morris Island since 1876.
