Learn to photograph the Milky Way in an internationally recognized dark sky park – a bucket list item for any photographer! I have traveled extensively in search of amazing photographic locations, and Arches National Park is magical after dark, with a wide variety of photographic locations to use as foreground subjects for the Milky Way.
See and photograph the Milky Way!
After a crash course on the best camera settings to capture the Milky Way with your digital camera (DSLR or mirrorless), we will visit and photograph the Milky Way in at least two locations in Arches National Park, an internationally recognized dark sky park.
Note: during March thru May, the Milky Way does not appear until after midnight, so this wee hours tour is only available as a standalone tour during this time, and it will begin with a late night pickup. During the Fall, I only offer my combo sunset + night tour.
Note: group members that do not have cameras (or only have cell phones) can still enjoy this tour. If you live near a big city, you may never have seen the Milky Way like this!.
