The Alaskan arctic summer brings 24 hours of daylight in a phenomenon called the Midnight Sun. This tour, led by an experienced guide, takes you from Fairbanks and into the Arctic Circle. You’ll enjoy highlights like an Alaskan Homestead, the Dalton Highway, Arctic tundra, Trans Alaska Pipeline, and the Yukon River.
Begin your one-day guided journey by land across the Arctic Circle with an orientation / briefing of your day. Large map is available to see the region you are travelling. Visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post situated in the rural community of Joy, Alaska. Learn of homesteading by early Alaska pioneers.

Experience the mighty Yukon River. Marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland’s most famous waterway and learn of the river’s storied past. This tour will stop both on the way north and south – meals are not included but it is here at the Yukon River Camp where guests can purchase lunch and dinner if needed (or yes, they can bring their own food on the tour)
1 hour 30 minutes • Admission Ticket Free
Cross the Arctic Circle in ceremonious fashion and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate. This will be your turnaround point for the tour. BUT, the tour continues with more information and stops along the way south.
