What To Expect

Our small group classes offer close, individualized attention and instruction to guide you through all the steps in creating your masterpiece! In our 1.5-2 hour, step-by-step class you’ll learn the following techniques – all while enjoying Hawaiian Pupu’s (appetizers) and island drinks!

Included in the cost of the workshop, you’ll get one medium-large size bamboo cheese board AND one small board to practice your design. We offer other specially shaped boards you can select instead for an additional cost.
We provide gloves, aprons, and all the other equipment needed. Your instructor will go over all the tools and materials to familiarize yourself with them before starting the process.

Prepping your board through cleaning, taping, and leveling
Measuring, mixing, and pouring the resin
Selecting and blending colors
Marbling and lacing techniques to get the water and wave effects
Use the techniques we show you to create your personalized vision of the ocean! Select your choice of color blends, wave shapes, and level of detail. We also encourage you to bring special materials to the class (such as shells or flowers) to further individualize your design.
