What To Expect

Paddle the beautiful Big Hickory Island and Estero Bay estuary, where we routinely encounter beautiful shorebirds, dolphins, and even manatee (March-October). You can explore the web of mangrove tunnels as well as the open channels around the island. The west side of the island is a beautiful beach that is much less visited than most since there is no road or pedestrian access. This beach is blessed with currents that wash up an unbelievable bounty of sea shells… you will be amazed! Bookings are for a 2-hour rental… you can stay out longer for a small additional hourly rate.
