You decide how fast or slow to go, as no ticketing is required to take a return ferry from the island (every 30 minutes). A tram is there to help guests with mobility issues get up and down the steep hill to the prison at the top of "The Rock." Plus, any day you want, before or after your trip to Alcatraz, you can choose when to go on the San Francisco Bay Cruise — taking you out on beautiful San Francisco Bay and UNDER the ever-amazing, rather imposing, and truly iconic Golden Gate Bridge!
