About the Walkway Over the Hudson:
The Walkway over the Hudson provides access to the Hudson River’s breathtaking landscape for pedestrians, joggers and bicyclists. Feel free to take a stroll at your leisure or rent a bike if you’d like (based on availability). This is self guided with instruction. The bridge deck stands 212 feet (.06 km) above the Hudson River’s surface and is 6,768 feet (2.06 km) long, making it the longest and highest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world! This bridge is connected to the beautiful Hudson Valley Rail Trail. Please let us know beforehand if you’d like to rent a bike.

About the Mount Beacon Hike:
See the Hudson River in all its beauty starting the day with a morning moderate to difficult (variations of easier hikes are available) 2 1/2-mile (4 km) hike. We’ll be 2,210 feet (.67 km) above sea level and this approximate 2 1/2-hour round trip hike (this includes 30 minutes of relaxing time and taking pictures at the top) will certainly make you marvel at the highest summit in the Hudson Highlands Mountains! Gorgeous views await you at one of the most popular hiking destinations in the Hudson Valley!
