Welcome to Kawaiahaʻo Church, one of the most sacred and historically significant sites in all of Hawaii. Established in 1837, this Georgian-style congregational church has played an integral role in the community and the history of Oahu for over 180 years.

Our guided tours will take you back in time as you learn about the church’s origins and its deep cultural significance. Built by early Calvinist missionaries and Native Hawaiians, Kawaiahaʻo Church was the first permanent western-style house of worship in the Hawaiian Islands. It served as a rallying point for Native Hawaiians during the Kingdom period and became a symbol of Hawaiian cultural identity, language, and independence.

Located in the heart of downtown Honolulu, the State Capitol Building is the seat of Hawaii’s state government. Constructed in the late 1960s, the Capitol features a modern architectural design that incorporates elements of Hawaii’s natural beauty.

Or step into the ornate House of Representatives chamber and imagine what it’s like when Representatives hold floor sessions. When the Legislature is in session, you may even see lawmakers in action from the public viewing galleries above.
