Overview

Learn some of the history behind many of Geneva's most beautiful and historic homes as well as some history of wine in the U.S. and Illinois. This walking tour includes stops at Geneva Winery and Up North Wine Tasting Room. A wine flight is provided at each location and is included in your ticket cost. To start the tour, meet your Tour Guide in Third Street Station at the east end of the Geneva Metra Train Station. The tour ends at the Geneva History Museum. There is approximately 1 hour of walking time between stops at the wineries and museum. This tour is a partnership with the Museum and includes free entry to the Museum, a swag bag containing coupons for local establishments, and a donation to the museum. For before or after your tour, Geneva has some of the best shopping and dining experiences in Illinois to include dozens of treasured Third Street Victorian homes that now house over 100 unique shops and quaint eateries.
