Couples, friends and groups welcome. This is a fun traditional yet not traditional yoga class because the use of a hula hoop as a prop is not traditional. This is fun yoga or yoga with a twist. We will use quality hoops that are very user friendly. Basic hooping will be taught and practiced to fun music for a short period of time as it is not about hula hooping but using a hoop as a yoga prop. We will have fun laughing and playing with the hoops while getting a wonderful workout.
I will supply hula hoops. We will warm up the body with some stretching and moving with the hoop. Yoga balancing with the hoop. We will learn basic hooping, practice how to keep the hoop going if it wants to drop. Learn off the body tricks one at a time and then practice moving from one trick to the other. Review all that we practiced. Have fun tossing hoops up and catching in such a wide open space. Having fun laughing and playing, not taking ourselves too seriously.
