There are many high peaks on Oahu but there can only be one highest peak and that's Mount Ka'ala. This epic adventure is off the beaten path in Waianae. Ka'ala offers an extremely interesting journey with many terrain and ecosystem shifts. From a paved road to coffee forest, macadamia nut forest, strawberry guava forest, up a ridgeline with rope sections and light bouldering. You might even find fresh blackberries near the top! For your effort, on a clear day you may be rewarded with magnificent views of the west side, the north shore, and Honolulu. One of the island's hidden gems, Mount Ka'ala is a must do for adventure seekers on Oahu. Aloha! My name is Travis and I will be your guide. I love hosting, touring, hiking, and exploring. I love people. My senior class voted me "Most likely to brighten your day." So many tours throw you in a shuttle bus and are impersonal. This is a personal, private, guided tour. I want to give you an experience you remember forever.
Mount Ka’ala is the highest point Oahu, offering views of the island’s West side, North shore, and even Honolulu on a clear day. This is a challenging trail. It’s long, it’s uphill, there are climbing and rope sections, and it will be hot, muddy, or both. Push through and you will be rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing you climbed to the top of the highest point on Oahu. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Pokai bay is a local safe, family friendly beach with calm waters and an ancient Hawiian heiau (temple) honoring seafarers. If time allows we will rinse off after the hike in the ocean and enjoy the scenery, so make sure to bring swimwear and a towel.
