Listen up, adventure-seekers! We have the ultimate outdoor excursion for light hiking travelers who want to avoid the hassles of driving! Get pumped for our El Morro tour – it's the perfect lite hike with Native American artifacts and pools they carved! Soak up those canyon views and epic landscapes as you take all the best picture overlooks and photo spots. Admission fees are paid in the price! Enjoy your hike, grab your camera, and the vast canyon unfold before your eyes. I'll have lunch waiting for you upon your return! It gets even better! We'll make stops to meet local Native artisans who will give you a firsthand look at their traditional jewelry! Then we'll wrap up the day at a 100+-year-old trading post for some last shopping. How cool is that? This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hike in the past! The canyon views and ‘Inscription Rock’ will leave you speechless – and with a camera full of absolute fire content! Let's do this, explorers! The open trails are calling!
The sunrise will be on the east side, so I suggest sitting on the drivers side for an unobstructed view of the morning sun. Your hike will start as soon as we arrive! El Morro serves as a unique historical record of the travelers who journeyed along the east-west trail, leaving behind glimpses of their stories etched on the sandstone cliff. The carvings, symbols, names, and dates offer a fascinating insight into the individuals who sought respite at the oasis and a tangible connection to the past for modern visitors exploring the site. After a 1 to 2 hour hike a fresh deli packed lunch will be served. Next Zuni Village!
