Daniels and Fisher Tower

The Daniels and Fisher Clock Tower, a historic and iconic landmark in Denver, stands as a proud reminder of the city’s rich heritage. Originally part of the Daniels & Fisher department store, which was one of the largest retail establishments west of the Mississippi River, the tower was completed in 1910.

This stunning example of Renaissance Revival architecture is most famous for its 16th-story observation deck, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline. The tower’s intricate details, including its four giant clock faces, each measuring 16 feet in diameter, add to its architectural splendor.

Having survived the demolition of the original department store in the 1970s, the Daniels and Fisher Clock Tower now stands as a solitary monument in the heart of downtown Denver. It’s a popular spot for both locals and tourists, not only for its historical significance but also for the unique perspective it offers on the city.
