This is a hands-on culinary experience! Under the guidance of the chef, you will prepare a gourmet meal (or desserts) and then enjoy it around our casual dining table. You will learn French cooking techniques, he will teach you knife skills, sauces, and how to cook locally sourced vegetables and proteins to perfection. You may harvest herbs from our garden, or learn to use a mini-torch to caramelize the sugar on your creme brulée (upgrade 2). We can customize menus for your group (upgrade 3). The experience can be private (see pricing), or you can join a Public class, those classes are limited to 10 guests. We can accommodate up to 15 people for a private class. Your fee with Viator is for a basic class, you can choose one of our upgrades from our menu to create a very special experience. Cook with a French chef who has produced the Emmy-winning television series Martha Stewart Living and won the James Beard Award for Lidia Bastianich’s PBS series, Lidia’s Italy. The chef will teach you classic French cooking techniques as you prepare a delicious heathy meal from local, seasonal ingredients. You will enjoy a glass of wine from his cellar with your recipe tasting. The chef will custom-design a menu to accommodate your favorites and avoid ingredients you don’t want in your meal as much as possible. This is our basic class, you have option to upgrade to make your experience even more special.
