From beaches and mountains to forests and farms, explore this spectacular wilderness park on a series of nature walks with a naturalist guide. Ride along in a high-roof passenger van or SUV, then stroll through the country’s oldest forests or along beaches with a breathtaking view of the Olympic Mountains. There isn’t a gate to pass through when you enter Olympic National Park. Instead, you suddenly notice the trees are bigger, the moss is greener, and you wouldn’t be surprised if Sasquatch ambled out of the forest as you pass by. Encompassing nearly 1 million miles, Olympic National Park is another world.

Depending on the weather, we may visit the North Coast of the Olympic Peninsula for a bit of tidepooling and photography.

When conditions are right, we’ll drive up to Hurricane Ridge to experience the sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains, Salish Sea, and even all the way across to Victoria and Vancouver Island.
In summer, we’ll travel up to wander along the trails through the subalpine meadows and try to spot deer and marmots among the wildflowers.
In winter, (road closure and weather dependent) we’ll trek along the ridge on snowshoes and experience how beautiful the change of seasons can be.

We’ll board the ferry once again from Bainbridge Island. As we come across the Sound, the sunset lights up the Seattle Skyline to welcome you back to the city.
