The Jungle Queen departs the Bahia Mar Yachting Center and takes you on a fully narrated cruise down the “Venice of America,” Fort Lauderdale’s New River, sailing through Millionaire’s Row with homes of the Rich and Famous, spectacular Mega Yachts, and sights beyond belief.

Stranahan House is the home of Fort Lauderdale pioneers Frank and Ivy Stranahan. Built in 1901 as a trading post and converted into a residence for the Stranahans in 1906, the house is the oldest surviving structure in Broward County.

Colee Hammock Park is a peaceful little spot on the water near Las Olas Boulevard. It is beautiful to look past the tall, old trees and shady lawn to the blue of the water beyond and the boats gliding by. Mansions line the shore of the waterway, making for a nice view. Couples sit on the benches enjoying the serenity.

The Museum is the hub of the South Florida Art Coast, situated midway between Miami and Palm Beach in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. Its distinctive modernist building, which opened in 1986 was designed by the renowned architect Edward Larrabee Barnes.
