Take a tour from a guide who has deep roots in the French Quarter and Garden District. Not only will you help the local community, you'll have a hometown perspective. As a child, I rode the streetcar each day to school and later attended Loyola University during Katrina. The areas I cover are a familiar landscape, and I can't wait to share my insights and the city's history with you.
We start at the Mississippi River, where all our lands were built we talk about the early history from native American settlements to the first French market and West African and Central African slaves first coming to the colony. We stroll down the Riverwalk to Jackson square.
