“The Strand” is Galveston’s original business district and is currently a waterfront entertainment and dining district consisting of sidewalk cafes, gift shops, taverns and other interesting establishments. It’s lavish early Victorian interior consist of stained glass windows, Mahogany stair cases, marble fire places lined with Sterling silver, an Altar room and more.
