Explore the wealth of islands and mangrove islets off the coast of southwest Florida during this fun tour of the 10,000 Islands. Hop aboard a boat in Goodland and sail into the Gulf of Mexico’s waters where you’ll embark on an eco adventure near Cape Romano. Sail in search of wildlife like dolphins and seabirds. Once you’ve arrived on a remote barrier island, you’ll hop out and walk along the beach, scouring the tidal pools for seashells.
Meet your ground and guide and begin your 10,000 Island Experience. Each trip is led by an experienced Florida Master Naturalist who is certified by the National Park and licensed by the US Coast Guard. Learn about the area’s history, cultures and it’s ecosystems while searching for dolphins, manatees, snowy egrets, little blue herons, tricolor herons, rosette spoonbills, shore birds, black skimmers, terns, ospreys, eagles raptors and more. Enjoy shell collecting on a remote island beach…an island strewn with shells that is only reachable by boat. Have you picture taken at the famous Cape Romano Dome Homes!
