The view from Mount Hollywood is epic. Come see it for yourself on this fun, educational, and accessible hike in the city. On the way we'll talk about the city's original inhabitants, the development of the city, and the layout of the land as we venture into the Hollywood Hills, Griffith Park, and the historic Griffith Observatory. On the way down, we'll show you the best spots to snap shots of the city's iconic sights, including the Hollywood Sign.

On this hike you’ll eat get some exercise as we hike up into the Hollywood Hills You’ll also learn some fascinating history about LA, get some great shots of the Hollywood Sign and get the chance to explore the Griffith Observatory.

Enjoy a secret garden behind Mount Hollywood, which was created by an immigrant in the 1920’s and 30’s.

Enjoy some of the best views, and get some of the best photos, of the iconic Hollywood Sign, which is in in Griffith Park.

Note: unfortunately you can’t get right up to the Hollywood Sign – it’s illegal.

This is one of the best museums in Los Angeles – and it’s free. It occupies a fantastic vantage point over the city, so it’s great for photos. Its design is an icon of Streamline Moderne and instantly recognizable from many movies and TV shows. The tour ends here, so you can continue to enjoy it for the rest of the evening.

Griffith Park is one of the best things in Los Angeles, frequently used by Angelenos to jog, walk their dogs or just admire the amazing views.

Hang out at the Griffith Observatory after the tour. It's one of the best museums in LA (closed Mondays).
Aim to get to the meeting point 10-15 minutes early, since we cannot wait for latecomers (there are other guests). This is LA, there's always traffic.

Better than hiking to the Hollywood Sign - this route has great views of the icon AND it includes the Griffith Observatory, the Greek Theater, the Bird Sanctuary and a secret garden. It's also a gentler hike.
