Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina



The tour It begins with a boat ride from Shelter Cove Marina to The back side of Daufuskie Island. The ride is an important part of the tour! Along the way we will stop for Dolphins other wildlife. Plus view and discuss the sites on Daufuskie and the neighboring islands that are best scene from the water. Your captain is a naturalist.

Once on Daufuskie you’ll get on golf carts and take a tour of the historic in undeveloped, historic, side of the island. We stop at pretty much all of the significant historic sites , visit with local residents, and the artisans of Daufuskie . Your guide is a historian so along the way we have lots of stops, discussions, visits and will go inside everywhere appropriate. Locations that are not occupied we have keys to. The cost includes everything. Everything being your boat ride there and back your golf carts, all the stops, all staffing, refreshments and snacks.
