Overview

You don’t have to leave Fido behind on this dog-friendly boat tour: bring you furry family member(s) and let them be part of the fun! Stop first at Keewaydin Island for a walk on secluded beaches (and maybe a few frisbee throws). Then, hop back on the boat and enjoy the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. Non-alcoholic drinks and small snacks are provided. BYO dog treats.

You can see wildlife close to the boat like dolphins, sometimes manatees, and birds like blue herons, egrets, ospreys and roseate spoonbills. After the island stop we get back on the boat to watch the colorful Florida sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. Bring your camera and your dog(s)* !

We park and step off the boat at a secluded beach area of the island to go for a walk, a swim or collect seashells. Your dog will absolutely enjoy the beach area. There are also some hidden trails which can be explored with your 4-legged friend. Interesting wildlife is often encountered on the island like turtles, lizards and a variety of birds.

Please wait in the Pavillion area next to the parks restrooms for the Captain to pick you up around departure time. The parks restroom area is next to the parking lot.
