Open since 1998, the gallery has hosted exhibits that have included works by Claude Monet, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso & Fabergé.
The current exhibition, “From Grain to Pixel” showcases 37 works created between 1993 and 2006 from preeminent Chinese artists amidst a backdrop of cultural, political and technological transformation. Works by these 14 artists
present a progression of Chinese photography as an artform, created during a robust, burgeoning period
of artistic experimentation. The exhibit showcases a variety of approaches to photography that encapsulate its evolution through works ranging from small-scale black and white photographs to large-scale color and panoramic scenes
