This area contains the best vistas of the surrounding mountains, pristine alpine meadows, exciting wildlife-spotting opportunities, and well maintained nature trails. Here, a nature walk will introduce the ecology and geology of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The second-deepest lake in Washington is set within the stunning evergreen foothills of the Olympics. The water’s low nitrogen content makes the lake crystal clear, radiating magnificent blue and turquoise colors. Time permitting, we’ll also take an optional guided nature hike through the old growth forest.
