On this walking tour, soak in the town’s picturesque architecture as you hear tales of REAL murders and mayhem, some of which are more recent than you may expect! Then we’ll make our own mayhem at Seagle’s Saloon, which will offer Happy Hour priced drinks exclusively for our guests!

We study the beautiful architecture of this oldest house in St. Marys and discuss how its owner, Archibald Clark, was involved in episodes of both mayhem and murder when the British occupied St. Marys during the War of 1812.

St. Marys Submarine Museum



Outside this museum, we discuss how the land where the submarine base stands today was owned by John Houstoun McIntosh, who played an important role in the Patriot War of 1812. In this war, men of Southeast Georgia caused mayhem with their attempt to wrest control of Florida from the Spanish.

We end our tour by taking in St. Marys’ picturesque riverfront views and discussing a murder which took place much more recently than you might expect!
